After a long gap of 2 years, veteran actor and famous comedian Goundamani is ready entertain with his comedy skills. Goundamani was last seen in Jaggubhai in 2010.

Comedy king Goundamani, who enjoys immense fan following in South, is all set to entertain us with his humor. The platform for his comeback is Shanthanu Bhagyaraj's 'Vaaimai' which will be directed by Senthil Kumar.

Confirming the news Shanthanu tweeted,

"Feeling blessed and privileged to be working for the 1st time with #goundamani sir.. yes its true that hes part of #vaaimai. A legend. Goundamani sir isnt coming back after years.. he has always been there.. he jus took a couple of years off as he dintget a good script. And hes not doin a cameo.. hes doing a full fledged role in Vaaimai."

Senthil Kumar, who happens to be the former associate director of critically acclaimed director Vasantha Balan, has made the effort to rope the veteran comedian in the film. However, the director has not revealed details on the other casts and technicians.

Actress Mukta Banu, who debuted in director Hari's 'Thamirabarani' opposite Vishal will get to romance with Shanthanu in this film.
