After her promising debut with STR's Podaa Podi, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar aka Varu is now said to have been roped in by the Telugu makers of 'Manam kothi Paravai'.

There is buzz making vibes in Kollywood tinsel town that some Telugu producer has bought the rights of Siva Karthikeyan's Manam Kothi Paravai and also made some changes in the script so that heroine will also have equal importance in the film. Now we hear that makers are keen to zero in Varalakshmi as they wanted to choose a new face, who has recently won Best Debutant actress in Jaya Awards.

However, the complete cast and crew of this remake venture are yet to be revealed by the makers. Meanwhile, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is busy with Sundar C's Madha Gaja Raja with Vishal and Anjali.
