Kamal Haasan left for America last week in order to screen Viswaroobam for Hollywood actors and technicians. Heroines’ Pooja Kumar, Andrea and crew members accompanied Kamal.

He screened Viswaroobam for the Hollywood actors and actresses on 24th. At that point of time Muslim organizations protested against this film. They wanted this film to be banned. The State Government also banned this film because of this protest.

Kamal consulted his attorneys regarding this issue from America. He also arranged to file a petition in High Court seeking the vacation of the stay but this did not materialize. The film could not be released in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Kamal explained that he has not produced his film with the intention of hurting the sentiments of Muslims. He also announced that he is willing to hold talks with Muslim organizations.

It is expected that the Court judgement regarding this issue will be taken up today and orders will be passed. Hence Kamal Haasan has returned back from America to Chennai last night. Media people try to contact Kamal at the airport but he did not open his mouth.
