The most awaited movie by Mani Ratnam, Kadal, hits screens by February 1 and the bookings are from January 30!!

The lead roles are by dubutantes Gautham Karthi and Thulasi. Action king, Arvind swamy and Lakshmi Mancu appear in prominent roles. The heart throb of the 90's, Arvind Swamy, marks his comeback with Kadal and so does tollywood actress-producer Laksmi Manchu with Kollywood. AR Rahman weaves his music spell in Kadal and the movie is released under the banner of Madras Talkies.

The movie revolves around the protagonist, who is caught between evil and good. Rajiv Menon is the cinematographer. The movie also releases in Telegu in the name "Kadali".
