As of now the Tamil Christmas releases are Kalla Thuppakki and Sattam Oru Iruttarai, both small films releasing in limited screens. The theatres themselves are preferring to continue with Kumki and NEP to attract the holiday family audiences.
Though the filmmakers have planned to release Vishal's 'Samar' on December 21 it was now postponed to 28th of the month due to the delay in the censor formalities.
On the other hand, the most awaited Bala's Paradesi has also been shifted its release to January from December.
So, Kollywood Box-Office will witness two releases this Friday Kalla Thuppaki and Sattam Oru Iruttarai. Logiyas directed Kalla Thuppaki casts Kutty Anand, Savanthika in the lead roles while Sattam Oru Iruttarai casts Pia Baajpai, Reema Sen, Bindu Madhavi, Thaman Kumar as the leads. Sneha Britto directed the movie.
Since the films are releasing with medium expectations, the films Kumki and NEP are expected to do good business.
