Thanga Meengal is the upcoming movie being directed by Ram of Kattradhu Thamizh fame and the film is slated for Pongal 2012 release.

Ram has written, directed and also played the lead role in Thanga Meengal under the production of director-producer Gautham Menon and his Photon Kathaas banner. Sadhana is playing the female lead for Ram in Thanga Meengal, while Sally and Padmapriya plays the key roles.

Music for Thanga Meengal is being composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the lyrics penned by Na. Muthukumar. Newbie Arbhindu Saaraa is handling the cinematography and A. Sreekar Prasad will take care of editing among the technical crew.

In the meantime Gautham Menon is busy with the post-production works of Jeeva’s Neethane En Ponvasantham / Nani’s Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu with Samantha releasing on 14th of December.
