This Diwali, among many other new releases, Simbu's 'Podaa Podi' is being eagerly awaited. The film which is a launch pad of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, is currently in its post-production phase and the unit is keen to release it on for this Diwali.

Simbu has tweeted, “Podaa Podi post production on full swing. The whole team is working day & night. Film will b censored in couple of days.Podaa Podi will 100 percent release for Diwali...There is no point in me bragging abt my film,all I can say his v will not disappoint u :).”

Directed by Debutant Vignesh Sivan, 'Poda Podi' is produced by Padam Kumar under Gemini Films Circuit banner. Dharan has scored the music while Duncan Telford is taking care of the cinematography.
