After proving to be a big hit in Kollywood, 'Thamizh Padam', a satire on Tamil films, was recently remade in Telugu as 'Sudigadu', and become a super hit there in Andra Pradesh,too.
The plot of 'Thamizh Padam' parodies contemporary commercial films, mocking the stereotypical scenes. The film was distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, and it won critical acclaim and commercial success at the box office.

The original version had 'Mirchi' Siva in the lead, who played the character very well bringing out the essence of the film. C S Amudhan directed the film, who is now busy with his 'Rendavadhu Padam', his second film!

And now, the film is all set to conquer Hindi audience. Top Telugu producer Suresh is planning to produce the Bollywood version, with Ritiesh Deshmukh in the lead.
