Actress Bhama said that Tamil films did not give her helping hands but only Kannada films make her live now.
Asin, Nayanthara and other Malayalam actresses who migrated to the Tamil film industry have made it to the top.

Bhama who had also come from Kerala had acted in the Tamil films Sevarkodi and Ellam Avan Seyal but none of her films gave her a helping hand. Now she has become one of the top actresses in the Kannada film industry.

Speaking about this she said, "I came with lots of expectations to Tamil film industry but only there was disappointment. Again I started concentrating in Malayalam films. At that juncture I got the offers in Kannada. I started acting in Kannada films. That gave me a big helping hand. Like how I am acting in important roles in Malayalam, I am also acting in important roles in Kannada. Currently I am acting in a film titled Auto Raja.

This is my 7th film. Like how Malayalam films gave me confidence similarly Kannada films have also given confidence. There is a good reception for Malayalam actresses in Kannada film industry. I am relishing this every second. So far I was donning family oriented roles. Now I have decided to boldly don glamour roles."
