Handsome single STR is getting ready to meet you all soon as Arjun in his forthcoming movie Podaa Podi. Debutant Vignesh Sivan has directed Podaa Podi that is being shot for almost two years based on the plot.

Podaa Podi casts Varalakshmi Sarathkumar as female lead for Simbu while STR's nephew Smarth is playing the role of his kid in the movie. Simbu plays the role as Arjun who is dedicated, orthodox, genuine, smart, punctual, vegetarian and loving possessive man in Podaa Podi and the tale revolves around the ups and downs face by a couple in bringing up their child.

Technical crew of Podaa Podi includes music composer Dharan, DOP by Duncan Telford and editing will be handled by Anthony under Gemini Films Circuit banner. As fans of Silambarasan are eagerly waiting for the movie, makers have planned to launch single track from Podaa Podi on Sep 6^th.
