Suriyan, directed by Pavithran, is definitely one of the landmark films in Tamil cinema. Sarath Kumar and Roja played the lead roles.
Looks like the film is all set to be remade in Tamil soon. The remake version will also be directed by Pavithran and the director will make necessary changes to the script.

And the interesting news is that the director has plans to cast Vishal and Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the new version.
