Aug 31^st is a special day for Thala Ajith, the heart favorite of many Tamil cinema fans. We know you guys are eager to know why. It is because Billa 2, the latest release of our Thala is celebrating its 50^th day tomorrow and as his previous release Mankatha was screened on the same day.

Remember Venkat Prabhu directed Mankatha featuring Ajith and Trisha in the lead roles saw the day light on Aug 31^st 2011 and had stood top in the box-office collections. Interestingly this year Ajith starrer Billa 2 directed by Chakri Toleti casting Bruna Abdullah, Vidyuth Jamwal, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Sudhanshu Pandey et al is celebrating its 50 days run on Aug 31^st.

Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is also happy as Mankatha was his 50^th film for which he has associated with his cousin Venkat Prabhu and again the duo are joining hands for their upcoming venture Biriyani with Karthi. It is quite happy moment for Ajith, who is very simple and away from all the celebrations. Beyond all Ajith is busy in the sets of his untitled venture with director Vishnuvardhan that features Nayantara, Rana, Taapsee and Arya in the lead roles along with Thala.
