Mugamoodi has opened worldwide with mixed reviews. Mugamoodi movie has so far done with premier shows and well occupied morning shows in the city.

Jeeva plays the role as Anand and friends call him Bruce Lee, who enters with a small fight to exhibit his martial arts skill. From now the movie goes on in typical Mysskin style and meanwhile director has plotted all the characters Pooja Hedge, Girish Karnad, Narain et al. Nasser Plays the role of a commissioner giving orders now and then to his subordinates.

Fisrst half is a bit slow with some un-sinking music at parts by K., while songs like Vayumoodi have already topped the chartbusters. Santhanam’s hilarious comedy bits are working, but the movie is based on martial arts. Second part of the movie goes with twist twist twist all the time.

UTV Motion Pictures have lavishly produced superhero Mugamoodi, as heroine Pooja Hedge calls the hero Anand [Jeeva]. Cinematography by Sathya is one of the positives for Mugamoodi, while editing by Gaugin could have done better. Mugamoodi is a better watch for the people who like superhero with natural skills and could have attracted better with gripping screenplay.
