Director K V Anand mentioned that his dream was to direct super star Rajnikanth and when will this be fulfilled. K V Anand has joined the list of ace directors in Kollywood.
He made his debut as a cinematographer and later on became a director.

K V Anand who gave hit films like Ayan and Ko is now directing a film titled Maatran. The trailer of this film is rocking. This film is about conjoined twins. In between, there was news that K V Anand will be directing a film which will have super star Rajnikanth in the lead role but K V Anand denied this.

Now there is continuous news about this. When asked K V Anand about this, he said, "Rajni is a simple and wonderful person. We cannot see such a person not only in cinema but in the whole world. At this juncture, I cannot say anything about working with him. Long time back Rajni spoke me about the film. Now I am not in a position to say anything about it. If i have to direct Rajni, I should have a proper script. That story should be liked by his fans."
