In less than 24 hours, Billa 2 will hit the screens. It will perhaps see the biggest ever opening in Tamil cinema history.


Almost all the show in over 550 screens across Tamilnadu is booked for the next three days.There is a mad rush for tickets among Ajith fans.

Produced by In Entertainment and Wide Angle Creations, the movie has been directed by Chakri Toleti. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah are the heroines.

The film will be released in over 1200 theatres all over the world. The distributiion rights for Tamil Nadu have been bagged by V Ravichandran of Aascar Films.

Says a theatre-owner in Chennai suburb, ‘Ajith is the King of Opening in Tamil cinema and he has proved it right again with Billa 2. Hopefully the opening gets going in the coming days and overpower Mankatha’s collections’.

On his part Aascar V Ravichandran, says, ‘The kind of response to Billa 2 advance booking all over Tamilnadu proves that Ajith assures a grand opening and his fans will lap up his movies. Billa 2 will recover its cost in just one week’.

Billa 2 has set to a new record as 82 shows are being screened at Mayajaal multiplex in Chennai.

Billa 2 is releasing this Friday and Mayajaal in Chennai has scheduled 82 shows which is a new record in the multiplex's history.

Another whopping stat is that 15000 online tickets were sold out in Mayajaal within half a day of the start of the booking.
