KE Gnanavelraja will be releasing Attakathi under his banner Studio Green on August 15th 2012. It may be mentioned here that Studio Green has produced and distributed a number of blockbusters including Paruthiveeran, Singam, Naan Mahaan Alla, Siruthai, Saguni etc.


Attakathi is directed by P Ranjith, who had apprenticed under director Venkat Prabhu. He has also taken care of the story, screenplay and dialogues of this film apart from wielding the megaphone.

Pramodh Varma, who had trained under Ramji, has cranked the camera for this venture. Santhosh Narayan, a product from Oscar winner AR Rahman’s school, has composed the tunes.
