The Sri Sankara Heart Foundation has announced 'Idhaya Geethangal'; a musical event to be held at the Nehru Indoor stadium on June 30.
The funds raised through the concert will go towards surgeries for many patients with serious heart ailments.
Popular Lakshman Sruthu orchestra, world-record holders for performing non-stop for 36 hours on stage, will also perform at the show.
Fans are especially looking forward to the winning combination of SPB and Chitra, who will also sing at concert.
The duo has sung several songs together over the years and many of them are super hits. Listening to them sing these duets once again will definitely be a treat for music lovers.
Speaking about the concert, Jayaramakrishnan, Managing Trustee of Sri Sankara Heart Foundation, said, "Medical assistance is required by many who cannot afford it.
Though the government is doing a great job in addressing this need, there are certain areas where we can extend our support.
Being associated with this cause is one of the ways in which we can reiterate our commitment and give something back to society."
