During shooting for movie ‘Haridoss’, actress Sneha was about to drown as the boat carrying her accidentally capsized.  But fishermen rescued her from drowning.

Movie ‘Haridoss’ pairing up Sneha and Kishore is on make.  The movie is directed by Kumaravelu.

The shooting for the movie was held in Rameswaram.  Yesterday, a song sequence for the movie was being shot in a small mound of sand resembling an island.  The mound is situated near Dhanushkodi.  For the cinematizing the song, Sneha, Kishore, director Kumaravelu and cinematographer Ratnavelu went in a boat to the mound of sand.

Once the shooting was over, Sneha and others were returning to the shore.  Then, boat carrying Sneha capsized. 

Everybody waded in the water and struggled for life.  Fishermen, on seeing this, rushed and rescued all.

Regarding this director Kumaravelu said ‘Many warned not to venture into the sea as the tides were high.  But, we did not heed those words.  Thus we landed in trouble.’

‘I struggled to rescue the child Prithviraj form drowning.  Fishermen rescued everybody.  We fortunately escaped.  Sneha was really shocked at the mishap’ added Kumaravelu.
