Actor Vijay was in Coimbatore recently to watch his Pongal release Nanban with his fans in theatres. At a select screening in a theatre, Vijay watched the film with physically-challenged and senior citizens.

He chose to distribute laptops to financially-backward women on the occasion. Vijay also entertained the fans by singing songs from the movie on the occasion.

One of the distributor said, 'Nanban has made it big. Its collections has matched the likes of Endhiran and 7 Aum Arivu'.
