Mohan Natarajan, a well known producer, has registered a complaint with the Tamil Film Produers' Council against 'Nanban' actress and top south star Ileana for not returning the money of Rs. 40 Lakhs that he had paid as advance to the actress for a film that he intended to do with her.

The producer in his complaint has said, "I roped in Ileana for a film with Vikram in the lead and Boopathy Pandian as director. Due to some reasons the crew was changed and director A L Vijay came onboard as director in place of Boopathy Pandian and Anushka did the female lead instead of Ileana as Ileana did not have dates when I needed. Since, Ileana stepped out I asked her to return the money that I paid her as advance but she is not returning. I have taken up the matter with the producers' council."
Sources close to the actress say that the producer had wasted her dates and he had had to pay compensation for that and in that case how could she return the money. But, the producer say, "Only if the actress had done some scene then the actress can claim but in my film we did not even do the photo shoot. Even, Shriya and Nayanthara returned the advance money when they could not act in the committed films."
