'Nanban' heroine Ileana has lamented that her slim look in the hit film was not appreciated by many in the industry and among her fans as well.

The Goan girl, after a long time, appeared in a Tamil film and for this she was asked to go that size zero so as do give a younger college girl look and also do the difficult belly dance in a song. And, the star also reduced her weight to give a slim look. But, her wafer thin appearance was not well received by the audience and also by the industry circle. "Instead of being appreciated I was criticized for my look in the film 'Nanban'. Everyone wants my look to be as good as the look that I had in my film 'Kick'. Yes, I'm going to gain weight now," says the actress.

Vijay starrer and Shankar directed 'Nanban' was her second Tamil film after her 'Kedi' that was released in 2006.
