Thala Ajith is getting back with director Vishnuvardhan post his Billa2. The project is being fine tuned by the latter while producer AM Ratnam marks his return to production after a gap with this film.

Initially Anushka was slated to play heroine but since her dates were not available there were unconfirmed reports that Amala has been approached.

But in an interview Vishnuvardhan denied the news as rumours and said things are yet to be finalized and a big heroine will be signed up soon.

Amala is probably keeping her fingers crossed as it will be a huge boost to her career to be paired with Thala himself if the role comes to her.
