'Mikeset Pandi' relaunches FEFSI Vijayan son

FEFSI Vijay’s son makes another attempt at stardom
A few months back, popular stunt choreographer FEFSI Vijayan launched his son Sabareesh as hero in the action-flick Markandeyan opposite newcomer Pinky.
Vijayan, who remained the president of FEFSI for many years and earned the tag ‘FEFSI’ as prefix to his name, directed and produced the film on his own.  He has choreographed stunt sequences in many Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies.

Thanks to the rapport he managed to establish with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan by working with him as the stunt-choreographer in the Hindi hit film Wanted, Vijayan invited Salman Khan to take part in the audio launch of Markandeyan held a few months back.  Salman obliged the request but despite the hype, the film fared very badly at the box-office and ended up as a ‘failure’.

A fine villain actor himself, Vijayan couldn’t digest the failure of the launch-pad of his son as hero in Tamil films.  In the meantime, his well-wishers and friends reportedly advised him to make his son star in a film by director Rasu Mathuravan known for many of his family-oriented films like Mayandi Kudumbathar and Goripalayam.

Mathuravan has promptly cast Sabareesh as the hero of his upcoming directorial venture titled Mikeset Pandi.  The film, billed as a typical village-based love story, has the pretty and popular actress Sunaina as Sabareesh’s heroine.  Comedian Karunas would also be playing a significant role in the film, which is said to be ‘financed’ by Vijayan.
