Ilayathalapathy Vijay has earlier accepted a film to be directed by AL Vijay which will be produced by Chandra Prakash Jain. Now, the latest news is GV Prakash has been roped in to score the tunes for the film.

This is the first time GV is scoring for a Vijay starrer and the music composer informed that he has received the advance for the film. The regular shoot will commence from mid 2012.

When a fan questioned the music director GV.Prakash, about making Vijay to sing in the AL.Vijay-Ilayathalapathy combo, he replied 'Of course I love his singing too!".

Right now, A.R. Murugadoss has started shooting for Vijay’s next film titled ‘Thupaaki’. While Vijay will be busy with ‘Thaandavam’ starring Vikram, Anushka and Amy Jackson in lead roles is already on the floors, it looks like the untitled film will start once both the Vijays are done with their films.
