Rajasekaran, who has scored music for a few television serials in some leading regional channels, has claimed that the script of actor Vikram's upcoming film Karikalan actually belonged to him.
The musician has gone ahead and lodged a complaint with the city police commissioner.

Also known as Nagaraj, the 41-year old Rajasekaran hailing from Porur, visited the office of commissioner yesterday to submit his complaint. In his complaint, he has stated that "I have been working as a music director of many television serials. I would like to state that the script of actor Vikram's next film Karikalan, which is currently being shot, belongs entirely to me.

"I had formally registered the story long back with the Producers' Council. I was in touch with many production houses to make a film out of the story. Now the film's shooting has already started using my story but not bothering to inform me or formally seek permission from me to use up my story. I hear the film would soon be released in theatres.

"I, therefore, request you to conduct a detailed enquiry in the matter before the film hits the screens," the complaint concluded. The case has since been referred to the central crime branch of the city police.
