Ezham Arivu is a film which had Surya and Shruthi Haasan in the lead roles. This film which was produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by A R Murugadoss was released for Deepavali.
When this film was released there was talk about Johny Tri Nguyen who donned the role of the villain.

His looks and steamy fighting sequences attracted the audience in all aspects. Even small children had a great liking for him. When enquired that how they were able to sign him for Ezham Arivu, we got some interesting information. The information is:

The main reason for Johny Tri Nguyen to be casted in Ezham Arivu is because of the stunt master Peter Hein. Johny seeing the fight sequence composed by stunt master Peter Hein for the film Anniyan appreciated him in the Facebook. That particular sequence had 60 stunt artists and it was shot in the slow motion.
Johny seeing this sequence has mentioned, "In Hollywood we use to shoot these kinds of sequences using 3D techniques and how did you manage to shoot these sequences in ordinary way." Later on Peter and Johny became very close friends.

Johny was born in Vietnam and settled in America. There is an international stunt award called Taurus Stunt Award. It was Johny who had recommended this award for Peter Hein twice. When A R Murugadoss narrated this story to Peter Hein, he wanted to sign the famous actor Jet Li. But since the story was against China, he refused to act in it. When Jet Li refused, Peter Hein immediately signed Johny Tri Nguyen for the villain role. Other stunt masters are proudly speaking about their friendliness.
