Director Lingusamy’s multistarrer flick Vettai starring Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the leads is progressing at a rapid pace in and around Chennai.
Vettai was earlier supposed to release in October but was now postponed to December. The makers are planning to cash on the holiday season by releasing it for Christmas.

Vettai is left with a couple of songs and patch work shoot and immediately the post-production works will commence. Arya and Madhavan will be seen as brothers in the film while the latter is essaying a cop role. Touted as a high action masala entertainer, Vettai is being produced by Subhash Chandrabose and Lingusamy on Thirupathi Brothers banner.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is by Nirav Shah.
