Upcoming actress Taapsee, who recently tasted her first success in Tollywood through Prabhas starrer Mr. Perfect, has reportedly hiked her salary.


It is heard that she has started demanding more from her usual price from the producers, who are approaching her for their films. Reports say that Taapsee used to get around Rs. 38 to 42 lakhs per film and is now asking Rs. 60 lakhs i.e., Rs. 50 lakhs as remuneration and an additional Rs. 10 lakhs for her other expenses.

Shocked by the actress' revised salary, some producers have already decided not to cast her by paying such a huge amount, because she has just only hit in her career.

Some say that there is nothing wrong in demanding Rs. 60 lakhs, when her counterparts like Tamannaah and Samantha are being paid around Rs. 60 to 70 lakhs. Some may argue that they did not hike their salaries overnight and they have increased with their every hit. So isn't Taapsee also doing the same thing?

Taapsee is currently busy with Gopichand's Mogudu which is getting ready to hit the screens in the third week of October. The movie is almost complete except a couple of songs
