After his illness superstar Rajinikanth has been recovering and getting ready for the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Rana’. While gaining all health and energy the superstar has now started appearing in public.
On 29.10.11, Rajinikanth made his first public appearance since April during when he fell ill and was admitted in the hospitals in Chennai and Singapore for treatment. The star attended a function to felicitate famous director S P Muthuraman, who directed superstar in more than 25 films, for his long journey and achievements in films. The veteran director was awarded Sankara Ratna Award at the function and many seniors of the industry participated.
While speaking at the occasion Rajini said, “I’m not Sivaji Ganesan or Kamal Hassan to rely on my acting skills. I cannot act like them. I have only speed. That is my greatest strength. Till I have this speed I will act”! He also thanked his fans for their love and prayers.
