The cast and crew of Nakul’s forthcoming film ‘Vallinam’, directed by Arivazhagan of ‘Eeram’ fame, recently worked non-stop for 72 hours, to shoot an important scene. “It was shot near Chengalpet railway station with special permission from the Southern Railway,” the director says.

“Since Atul Kulkari, who is playing a crucial role in Vallinam, had to leave for the shoot of his other film, we only had three days in hand. So we decided to work without a break and shot the scene. My sincere thanks to each and everyone of Vallinam team,” he says.

Produced by V Ravichandran on Ascar Films banner, the movie is about a basketball champion and the challenges he faces in life. To make himself fit for the role, Nakul practiced hard basketball for three months and became thorough with the game, it is claimed.

“Though basketball forms an important part of the story, the film doesn’t revolve around the sport alone. It is a full fledged commercial subject and would be racy,” according to Arivazhagan. Thaman has composed the music and Simbu has crooned a song in ‘Vallinam’.
