Jiiva-Tapasee starrer Vandhaan Vendraan is all set to grace theatres on September 16, 2011. The film, directed by Kannan (former associate of Mani Ratnam), received a clean U certificate from the Censor Board recently. Now the latest buzz is that the film will be released worldwide with 400 prints. The major highlight of the film is its picturesque locations. Post the success of Anand's Ko, Jiiva's career graph is on a high. The film is being dubbed in Telugu as Vachadu Gelichadu. K.V.V. Satyanarayana has bought the Telugu dubbing rights.

Vandhaan Vendraan will portray urban Mumbai in a new light. The film was also shot in places where shootings haven't been permitted before, including the Bandra sea link, Gateway of India and Hotel Taj Mumbai. Jiiva plays the role of a struggling boxer who fights hard to achieve his goal. The actor has undergone some rigorous training for this film. Tapasee plays an architect.
