There were lots of controversial and sensational news in the recent times about Sona. Sona had alleged that the producer and son of the famous playback singer S P Balasubramaniam had molested her in a party which was hosted by Vaibhav.

She had also made a police complaint that SPB Charan has molested her. Enquiry regarding this is going on with regard to this. It seems that Sona has also produced some video clipping to the police to prove her allegations. Apart from this Sona all along have been mentioning that she will not marry. She uses to also say that she cannot live with men and at the same time she cannot live without men.

Recently while speaking to the media she said, "I am a Tamil girl. I hail from Vellamadam in Nagercoil District. My mother is a Tamilian while my father is an Anglo Indian. Both of them loved and got married.
I was studying in Poona but I was not able to complete my education because I came to act. My mother is with me. There is a question now that being a Tamil girl why did I attend a liquor party. This question is justified. But, what to do?
