It looks like Kollywood in working on a new trend called postponement. Yes, from quite sometime now we are coming across many postponements either in audio launch or in the release date of the film.

Now, Dhanush forthcoming film Mayakkam Enna is also following the same trend as the audio launch which was set to take place on September 15 has been postponed to September 19. GV Prakash music composer of the film has confirmed this and he also said that this is the final date. The album has six songs including a theme song. Director of the film Selvaraghavan has tried his hand in singing for the first time.

Mayakkam Enna is said to be a romantic thriller which stars his brother Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles while Sunder Ramu, Mathivanan Rajendran, Pooja Balu, Soni Barring, Rajiv Choudhry and others play supporting roles.

The makers are in plans to release the film on September 30, to cash on the Vijayadasami long weekend.
