Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ happens to be one of the big budgeted projects made in 2011. The film is produced at a whooping amount of Rs. 45 Crores and the makers have spent Rs.2 Crores for each song respectively. It is worth mentioning that the climax portion was shot nearly for 25 days in 4 different parts of Tamil Nadu, which is reported to be one of the greatest highlights of the film.

The film was launched with big bonanzas amidst of Vijay fans and now Aascar Ravichandran has decided to host the audio launch in Madurai (on August 28). The reason why the event is scheduled in this land because it holds special mention of having more film buffs.

The audio has been acquired by Sony BMG and with Vijay Anthony already streaking success with Vijay in ‘Vettaikaran’, the expectations have become bigger with the film. Moreover, the two hotties Genelia D’ Souza and Hansika Motwani will add more flavours to the film.
