According to some snoopy sources it has been revealed that one of the leading distributors and exhibitors from Canada and USA, GK Media, have confirmed the release date of Mankatha on September 1.

However there is no official announcement from the producers of the film regarding the release date. The filmmakers are in plans to cash on the big weekend of Vinayaka Chathurthi- Ramzan. Even Kerala distributor Diva Pictures has announced that the film will release on September 1 or 8 as big Onam attraction.

Director Venkat Prabhu has said that the film is going to be censored next week. The date of release is expected to be revealed once the film clears the censors. So, by all means Mankatha has chances of releasing on September 1st.

Meanwhile Actor Vaibhav Reddy has tweeted, “Mankatha is coming on 31st friends, if any delays maximum by September 1st… Enjoy the movie guys”
