Rajini has spoke to Selvaraghavan and his wife Geethanjali and wished them a happy married life. He also expressed his inability to attend the wedding as he was advised to take rest by the doctors. Once Rajini is back in Chennai, the couple is going to visit Rajini for seeking his blessings.

The couple has hosted a grand reception on Monday evening at Mayor Ramanathan Marriage Mandapam, Chennai. The wedding reception was graced by leading personalities from Kollywood and Tamil Nadu politicians.

His elder daughter Aishwarya Dhanush was here in Chennai for Selvaraghavan's wedding and she is expected to leave to Singapore along with her husband Dhanush to be with her father.
