Aadhi, Pasupathy, Archana Kavi and Dhansika starrer Aravaan would see the light of the day on the festival of lights Deepavali.

Aravaan is based on a popular novel Kaval Kottam written by Su Venkatesh. Director Vasanthabalan the man behind this periodic film is currently giving final touches to the film. Vasantha Balan has roped in Art director Vijay Murugan for erecting a huge set on the Arittapatti Hill near Madurai which resembles 17^th century Pandian era. All the members of the cast and crew have been giving their best efforts. The set cost nearly eighty lakh rupees and also plays a vital role in the film.

Vasanth Balan says "Aravaan is my dream film and finally its on the heels of completion. The cast and crew are working hard and are very cooperative".
