Rowthiram shooting is going on from the last two and half years and finally Jeeva completed it. It was due to Jeeva's busy schedules the film got delayed. The last schedule of the film has been wrapped up in Pondicherry and the post production work has begun in full swing. Rowthiram sees Jeeva and Shriya Saran in lead roles with Prakash Raj and Jayaprakash appearing in supporting roles. The film is written and director by Gokul. R. B. Choudary is producing the film under the banner of Super Good films. Music is scored by Prakash Nikki for this action and comedy entertainer.

Post to the success of KO, Jeeva is riding high on his career and expectations are also running high on his future projects too. However, Jeeva has no misgivings about the wait of Rowthiram because KO has given him a pinnacle place in the industry. .

Rowthiram is scheduled for its theatrical release 14 October 2011.
