The actor has written a four page letter which was released to the press today. In his letter Rajini mentioned "I am thankful to my fans who prayed for me speedy recovery".

Rajini also said "I have recovered just because of the sincere and heartfelt prayers by my fans. The best way to convey my thanks to all of you for your endless love is by entertaining you. I won’t forget this for ages. I will soon start Rana. I would also like to thank the Tamil Nadu government and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who assured all aid and co-operation during my treatment at the hospital”.

Rajini is going to be back in India only in the month of August as he is asked by the doctors to attend for some periodic health check ups.
