Until now there are many updates regarding Mankatha but this an update which all his fans and the audiences are curiously waiting for. So far we heard many dates about the release of the audio and the film but none of them happened on the scheduled date due to some official problems.
But now the director of the film Venkat Prabhu himself have announced that they're planning to release Mankatha on August 15, 2011 for Independence Day. The whole team of Mankatha is working persistently without taking any breaks. The shoot of the film has been wrapped up very recently in Hyderabad and the post production works are going on full swing. During the commencement of the film Venkat Prabhu had plans of releasing the film for Thala's birthday but it didn't happen as it wasn't easy for him to manage such big star-cast.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is working on the track recordings and he has completed almost all the tracks. The audio is all set to release on mid July.
