The film is releasing worldwide in nearly 700 screens and the Telugu dubbed version which is titled Vaadu Veedu is also releasing on the same day. Avan Ivan is expected to have thundering opening in TN as Vishal and Arya have a decent market by themselves and under the direction of Bala it becomes even bigger.

According to some trade sources it is known that Avan Ivan is releasing big in Tamil Nadu like a superstar film and in Chennai city itself it is releasing in 15 screens. So far director Bala has given some dark and disturbing films but now by changing his track he has made a film with light hearted comedy.

Avan Ivan is being released by AGS Entertainments while the dubbed version is getting released by GK Film Corporation which is owned by Vishal's brother Vikram Krishna.
