Adhering to an order by the government of Tamil Nadu that films with Tamil titles alone will be eligible for tax benefits, Siddarth-starrer romantic entertainer '180' has been rechristened as 'Nootrendbadhu'.
Directed by popular ad filmmaker Jayendra, the triangle love story has Priya Anand and Nithya Menon as heroines. "The change has come into effect since Friday. Newly released ads and promos of the film feature the new title," circles close to the unit say.
'Nootrenbadhu', produced by Sathyam Cinemas and Agal Films will be released on June 25. "It will be a refreshing romantic flick with dialogues by ace writers Subha adding more flavour," they say.
The film will be simultaneously released in Telugu too, however with the title '180'. It will mark the comeback of Siddarth in Kollywood, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's 'Ayudha Ezhuthu' seven years ago.
