It is known that she has just started her second innings in Kollywood and we hear the gorgeous Sonia has signed a new project titled Matha, Pitha, Guru. The actress is having few interesting projects after the success of Vaanam.

Sonia has a meaty role in this film and a debutant is going to star opposite her. Matha, Pitha, Guru is based on child abusement and Sonia is the pillar of the film. The actress has lost oodles of weight just to kick back into the films.

Sonia says "I am looking forward for the opportunities which would provide me enough scope for my performance. I have signed two more Tamil films and a Malayalam movie too. The response of Vaanam is very encouraging."
