A day it was choreographer Lawrence Raghavendra who arranged a special prayer session at his Raghavendra swamy temple in Avadi and now the directors of Kollywood joined together to pray for Rajini to recover his health soon.

In fact this is for the first time the members of the directorial committee joined together in the history of Tamil cinema to pray for the superstar to regain his health

Kamala theatre in Vadapalani, yesterday has witnessed around 500 directors and more than a 1000 assistant directors who gathered to pray for the well-being of Superstar Rajinikanth. This special prayer session has headed by director Bharathiraja.

This special prayer saw the presence of directors' association President Bharathiraja, who preside over the meeting, R.K. Selvamani, Ezhil, Balu Mahendra, S.A. Chandrasekar, Vikraman, K.S. Ravikumar, Vasanth, Cheran, S.P. Jananathan, Perarasu, Agathiyan, R.V. Udhayakumar, E. Ramadoss, Seenu Ramaswamy, Vettrimaran, A. Jagannathan, T.K. Shanmughasundaram, and Sasi Mohan.
