It is well known that Karthi is soon going to enter wed lock with Ranjani a student of Chennai's Stella Mary's College. The couple got engaged sometime ago a midst of both the families at Ranjani's at residence in Kumarasamy Goundampalayam.

The wedding celebrations has started well in advance as Karthi is presently busy shopping in Mumbai along with his family to choose his costumes to be worn on the day of his wedding on 3rd July. The wedding is going to take place on July 3rd at the Kodesia Complex in Coimbatore. The wedding would be followed by a grand reception in Chennai the very next day. Karthi is going to shop costumes for him and his fiancée Ranjani both for the marriage as well as the reception function.

It is learnt that a popular costume designer has been approached to help Karthi in his selection of costumes for the big day.

The couple decided to fly to Tahiti Island for honeymoon, which is located at a zone where Pacific Ocean meets the Atlantic Ocean.
