Director Shankar is following a new track when it comes to Nanban which is the remake of Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots. Usually he takes a longtime to complete a project but coming to Nanban he is moving on a faster pace in each and every schedule. He has completely changed the theme of the film and also added much grandiloquence to the remake.
Shankar so far has wrapped up 2 schedules one in Ooty followed by most important shot in Dehradun. According to close sources it is known that the entire crew is flying to Andaman after this schedule. Later to this Shankar planned of filming few songs in Spain on Vijay and Ileana. The production house Gemini Film Circuit has made it clear that Nanban is getting filmed on a whopping budget.
Music is by Harris Jayraj while cinematography is headed by Nirav Shah.
