Malayalam hit film Traffic directed by Rajesh Pillai is going to made in Tamil.

Traffic is an emotional thriller based on a road trip from Kochi to Palakkad and also inspired from the real actions that took place in Chennai. Owing to its critical and commercial success there was a huge demand for its remake rights from different languages. The film is now being made in Tamil and Hindi. Director Pillai is holding discussions with more than a few production houses and latest update we hear is that Bollywood production house Endemol has bagged the rights and is making it in Hindi.

Popular stars from Bollywood will be featured in this remake. Talks for the Tamil rights are still going on and snoopy news is that legendary actor-director Kamal Haasan is showing is showing a great interest for this remake. As of now nothing is finalized as the discussions are yet to be wrapped up.
