Surprisingly, Superstar Rajinikanth has chosen Ganja Karuppu as his comedian in his upcoming film Rana. The film, directed by K.S. Ravikumar, will go on floors in Chennai today. The film is produced by Eros International in association with Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Studios. A.R. Rahman is the music director while Ratnavelu (of Enthiran fame) will crank the camera.
In Rana, Rajni will appear in a triple role and reportedly the film is set in three different eras. Director Ravikumar has issued access cards to the cast and crew of Rana to maintain the surprise element of the film.
