TheCinemanews.com has earlier reported that Dhanush has given his nod to do a film with director Simbudevan, which is a fantasy flick.

The latest reports confirm that Simbudevan has approached Dhanush who is back from Mohali on Wednesday. He discussed the details of the script and finally when talks are on about his remuneration the director got astonished by the cost demanded by Dhanush. To our surprise he demanded Rs.7 crore as his fee for the film. By hearing this director didn't have any words to reply as the films budget is only Rs.12 crore.

Now the director is in dilemma on how to convince the producer regarding Dhanush's remuneration. From the last four films Dhanush is riding high in his career by hitting the bull's eye at the Chennai box-office. In fact he is trying to cash on his popularity.

Simbudevan earlier directed Imsai Arasan 23-m Pulikesi, Arai En 302-l Kadalvul, and Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam.
