Vijay’s Velayudham in summer 2011
Ilayathalapathy Vijay has almost completed the shoot of his 51st film Kaavalan (remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard) directed by Siddique. Vijay has now started working for his next film Velayudham directed by Jayam Raja. Vijay Anthony is expected to compose some peppy numbers for this film produced by Aascar Ravichandran. Bubbly Genelia and Hansika Motwani are the heroines. Genelia D’Souza will play the role of a journalist, while Hansika Motwani will be a village belle. Santhanam and Sathyan take care of the humour element. The latest buzz is that the film is a complete mass entertainer and 50% of the shoot has been completed.
